Depending on your garden you sort of do crop rotation anyways in many setups.
Like if you have four quarter plots of a 48ft2 piece of lawn and do a different crop in each quarter, then rotate the next year. Makes it easy for even yourself to harvest. Easier to notice where your ripe beans to harvest are when they aren’t mixed in with your corn plants.
There should almost be some sort of technological transfer to nearby empires, like cultural influence. If your neighbour is at 10000 tech points or whatever while you are at 1000, you should be able to leech some tech points from your neighbour to develop faster.
Transfer rate increases with the disparity between nations and decreases with distance.
So a super advanced empire on continent A will contribute to nations on continent A and B, but those on continent A get more of a bonus than those on B.
This aligns fairly well with reality as neighbouring countries would transfer students to universities all the time, less so the further the nations are apart.
Depends on the location. Mosquito control is done all over, but I’m only somewhat familiar with north america.
It’s pretty widespread in the United States where it’s done by government employees at the municipal and county level I believe. They do use a fair bit of aerial spraying in certain areas though as I understand since there is a high concern of certain diseases being spread in certain areas.
In Canada it’s mostly done by private companies (ironic I know) with a few areas being done by the government, and it’s mostly done just because of nuisance and negative economic effects from outdoor workers and tourism so aerial spraying of chemicals is pretty much not done at all except for one major city which is phasing it out.
If you live anywhere in north America that’s nearby a river, coast, swampland, or significant snowmelt into he spring, you may have a local mosquito control program.
I never even knew the control programs existed until I came across the job postings and got hired, but they are fairly wide spread.
They’ll also pop holes in your tires in the winter trying to eat the road salt off of them.
If its a new trilogy should they be referring to it as witcher 4?
Wouldn’t it make more sense to call it something like Witcher: ??? 1,2, and 3
And then PlayStation 6 will come out in like a year or something. Why would anyone buy this when they could wait for the ps6?
We don’t use aerial spraying, which can cause harm to other insects.
We only use a bacteria that’s put in standing water which only harms mosquitos in their larval form (or biting black flies) and is totally safe for pretty much everything else since it needs very specific biological conditions for it to become toxic, which is only found in the stomachs of mosquitos and black flies.
If you average it out over the year it’s probably a few million per day.
(I work in mosquito control)
Why is it that fast food thinks it can charge for sit-down restaurant prices nowadays?
I don’t even understand why I need to make a password for some sites anymore. They send a code to my phone everytime.to make.sure it’s me so it seems like there’s practically no point.
A lot of things can save time in a hypothetical situation. Where do you draw the line? Parking? Property damage? Why don’t we draw the line at not doing illegal things, no matter how inconspicuous.
Parking illegally can also hinder people from getting help from an ambulance or fire truck.
Eh, it’s just a service in exchange for money. Just like a massage parlour or spa or doctor or chiropractor or hair stylist. Sex isn’t special.
You need to book it because you are not the only person who “owns” it. Many people do, and usually you can only book like 1-2 weeks a year or something.
Despite paying the full price of an apartment you’re only really buying 1/52 of an apartment
Plus they have you pay a bunch of maintenance fees which can be a few hundred to thousands a year.

I don’t mind multiple streaming platforms as long as all they do is stream content
My issue is each and every streaming platform produces their own exclusive content or they sign exclusivity contracts so only one platform streams a particular show or movie at once.
If Netflix and amazon video had the same content, you would just have to choose the service that is cheapest and has the best benefits like great user interface, customer support, features, and other stuff like that.
When there are 12 different platforms which each have their own library with barely any overlap you have to sign up for multiple all at once, and some that have terrible customer support or user interfaces if you want to watch one of their shows.
Do states have more or less electoral votes based on population?
Like would California have more say in who becomes president than Idaho?
Or is it that stupid system where each state has an equal amount of votes?
And also probably have volunteer mods in the paid subreddits…
Never buy fixtures with irreplaceable built in LEDs, they’re mostly a scam to get people to buy a $50 fixture instead of a $30 fixture and a $5 bulb.
Also LED bulbs, the light emitting portion (light emitting diode, LED) is just a small part of the actual “bulb”. LED bulbs also have lots of little circuitry components which are typically what dies first. The actual LED is unlikely to fail, but the circuitry can easily get burnt out in cheap bulbs.
Don’t get the cheapest ones that you can find.
Don’t put them in airtight enclosures (i.e. those old nipple lights)
Dont turn them on and off constantly. You’re not using much energy, it’s fine to them on for a bit. They more they turn on and off the faster they will fail.
Avocado toast costs less than a bowl of cheerios where I live 😭
