As far as I’m aware the original repo wasn’t DMCA’d. It was just taken down by the original Owner after Nintendo asked them to. This seems to be why these new “hard forks” haven’t gotten taken down.

I am not for these ddos attacks they are generally bad practice and usually make things worse. Rockstar is actively stopping me and every other Linux users from playing the game online. This move for battleye just makes the cheaters cheat smarter making the problem much worse

Unfortunately I don’t see this getting rockstars stubborn ass to remove this garbage “anticheat”

I see this as a non issue since it requires physical access to the key and would require them to know your email or have access to your computer.

That list of people would already be able to access your key any time anyway so they wouldn’t need to clone it 🤷🏻‍♀️

If they had full support for side loading, and supported the thunderbolt standard I feel most of my hardware problems could be solved with a type c case that’s adds it a headphone jack and SD card slot

My list of problems: Too expensive, no 3.5 mm Headphone jack, no expandable storage, lack of foss apps and stores like f-droid, and the lack freedom to install and do what I want with the device I payed for.

Like others have said use Endeavour OS instead of Manjarno

I can read a repo list. I can’t see what windows is doing. It’s an entire operating system that has spyware rooted into every nook and cranny of it. Now it takes screenshots of everything you do by default.

Specifically for Windows vms without a GPU passed to it, VMware tends to do a way better job at least in my testing

God I hope not, that would lead to awful battery health and lots of laggy interactions with devices over Bluetooth since the bandwidth for bt5 is 2 Mbps

I agree with this, for anyone at even a beginner level fredora is pretty great! I’ve used it many times for hosting servers, it’s pretty reliable and isn’t going away any time soon

I just use a VM for windows apps that don’t work through wine
