Well thank god this computer genius is on the scene. Don’t worry, EA can solve everything as soon as they hear about these great and very original ideas.

The fact that this thoughtful comment was downvoted, while the computer illiterate reply was upvoted, speaks to the hive mind on this subreddit. We all detest EA, but this guy has a legitimate point.
Yeah, that’s depression.
You’re not wrong. I just think phones do too much as it is. I have like 5 computers, and I don’t need my phone to do everything. But what it does it has to do perfectly.
That’s not my experience but congrats
I have both, and the iOS integration of basic features is insanely good. That’s the main difference. Passwords are seamless; I’ll get a verification code in a text message or an email and it’ll auto populate and then delete the message. There are so many features that connect your phone to your “ecosystem,” I mean wirelessly extending a screen to an iPad (with zero setup), or having your phone automatically act as a webcam — fucking weirdly easy. Android is the opposite. You need an app to do anything and it will require setup and it won’t work every time. Convenience is what matters. Bootloaders and codecs are not as important as whether my earbuds connect instantly and 100% of the time. A phone should make my life simpler. Etc.

No one deserves to be stripped of the right to exist.
for some crimes, death penalty is too mild…
So… death penalty is wrong, but evil people deserve to be tortured?
I have to say, this is the most unphilosophical and internally contradictory view on this topic I’ve heard so far. Well done.
Most people don’t care about what’s true, something that took me forever to realize. Encountering humanity under the assumption that everyone cares about the truth (or any aspect of empirical and normative reality) is bound to be suuuper confusing until you figure things out. People are literally animals (we forget that), and animals are just trying to survive. Some of them are cute or loving. Not all of them are particularly “good,” and even fewer are willing to sacrifice creature comforts in pursuit of some abstract virtues. That’s why Trump gets any votes.
Dell has always been a horrible company. Their main mechanism of profit in the early 2000’s was selling cheap, unusable laptops stuffed with spyware to poor people. In fact, Dell, Lenovo, and HP were so notorious that BestBuy literally created the GeekSquad to capitalize on the fact that Dell’s laptops were infected with spyware and needed to be “cleaned” before they could be useful.
I find it inexplicable that people can regard Dell’s products with anything besides skepticism and disgust. The CEO of Dell is also famously a barely sentient ignoramus.

The idea that a bunch of conservative religious nutjobs who regularly kill LGBT people and rape children are “fighting against colonialism” is absolutely comical.

I want to congratulate you and your tutors on the incredible progress you’ve made learning to write in complete sentences. Please keep it up.

Boston Children’s Hospital in collaboration with Harvard Medical school pays residents about the same. It’s pitiful and we desperately need regulation on salaries at educational institutions.
Your evidence is people who lived a century or two ago?
According to a 1998 study, 92% of members of the National Academy of Sciences reject the belief in a higher power or God. Now decades later, that number is closer to 100%. And a soul is a philosophical concept, not an empirical one.
I accept the existence of religion by virtue of the fact that humans are half a chromosome away from chimpanzees. I’m not happy about it, though.
Stem cell research has never ever been controversial among scientists. Priests, maybe.
Damn, what are they called?
