I still use version 7 of Nova, it’s the only launcher in the market that knows how to handle icons. Any other is frankly a disaster, they can’t make them look good at all.

It looks like a chicken and egg problem: you don’t have commercial software available on Linux so people won’t use it, so you don’t have enough user base to justify the development of Linux versions. This won’t be solved unless a big company like Valve decides that Linux is the way and start solving basic issues like usability and installation of apps.

It should either be completely revamped and get a new name, or completely forgotten in favor of better alternatives like Krita.

• the stupid thing don’t have CMYK mode, the most basic thing needed if you work with graphics.
• lack of adjusting layers a.k.a. non-destructive editing.
• It will lock up and lose your work for apparently no reason. I lost a graphic due to a crash because I made the incredibly challenging action of changing a font. It also cannot handle big files at all.
• It’s so. Fucking. Slow.
