Ah, that actually clarifies it much more. I still find it interesting how someone can enjoy such a place, but just another thing that shows how different everyone is.
Ahan, that’s interesting.
For me, it’s the heat. As someone who has lived in some hot areas, any desert level / scene just make me think of how hot it will be, and how thirsty everyone will be.
Don’t avoid them or anything. Just a feeling it generates.
Not afraid of things coming out of infinitely deep chasms?
What about animals / bugs? Or even other human?
I don’t think there was any tease. He is a game director, he is not retired, of course he is working on a new game.
As he has mentioned, once a game is ending, director is already working on pre-production of next game.
That’s actually same as me. I did play Diablo 2 tons of time. But that was just to finish the game with different characters and different skills combo.
Like one time with Amazon with bow skills, then next time with Amazon with Javelin skills. Also, since I couldn’t afford many games back then, I would just re-install it every few months or year or so, and play through it once or twice.
Though, to be completely fair, I didn’t even know you could keep playing after finishing the game. Thought it was some glitch that game restarted again 😀
So, not exactly same as you. I want to play with all the characters. At least once.
I haven’t played Genshin Impact, but from what I recall from trailers, there are many anime game with similar art style. I am currently playing Atelier Ryza, and I believe it has similar art style too.
Even with Hades, I don’t think the art style is difficult, but a lot of effort has gone into visuals of that game. There is lots of detail in everything. So, maybe in that sense it can said to be hard to reproduce.
Yeah, Mirage is not a free to play game. Must be a trial version, with option to buy the full game.
It’s Zomboid day!
Nice shed! Hope you find/build a staircase and put a roof on it.
Not many companies release this number, the only one I remember is of World of Goo, which is pretty old now. They mentioned that there was about 90% piracy rate for their game.
But arguing over whether or not you should use this engine or that engine, the engine is in service to the game. Is the game good? I don’t care what the engine is. The game’s good! Let’s play the game.
That’s the problem, the games aren’t good anymore!
According to the article, it was only released on PS5 last October. So, took about an year.
Don’t tell everyone! I am trying to be in first 10,000!
Ah, cool. Thanks!
Too long. Can’t post it all in one comment, and screenshot of whole page is also not posting.
It’s about the history of Blizzard, that Jason Schreier is covering in his new book Play Nice.
Well, they would get unpatched games which won’t be playable anyway 😀
But no, this only happens for downloaded game, and even then it’s generally for games you have downloaded as part of subscription. If you stay offline for long period of times (don’t know exact time these days, but I think it’s at least more than a month), then PS needs to recheck if you still have the subscription, or if the game is still present in subscription.
Played FTL near to it’s release, and Into the Breach when it ended up on mobile / Netflix. Baba is You is still on my wishlist though.
Complex strategy game might be an interesting category. Will check out a few. Any recommendations that I should check first? I used to play Age of Empires before, so going to get AoE IV soon, but don’t know much 4X games (except maybe some Civilizations and Age of Wonders 2).
Also played Half-Life a while ago, haven’t played 2 though. Thanks for the reminder!
Well, I am generally a fan of RPGs but I play pretty much any kind of game. Most of the AAA games end up on consoles, so have played most of them (or have them on wishlist). Played both God of War (all except Ragnarok, which is on my wishlist) and Control on PS. And Guardians of the Galaxy is on my wishlist.
Oh, not a big fan of MOBAs or any PvP game. Same with very old or retro game. Don’t have a nostalgia for 8-bit games. Don’t mind 16bit era that much though. Also don’t like horror.
Oh yeah, loved the game. I think I got a platinum for it. Haven’t played the remake yet though, but it’s in my backlog.
As others have said the game is not perfect, it was initially supposed to be an MMORPG but then they changed it to a single player game, also there was some drama with the studio that was making it, got bankrupt making it. Maybe if they had more time / money they could’ve improved it even more.
Also, it was written by the fantasy author R. A. Salvatore.
