Oh I didn’t realize it was like that. I’ll have to re-visit my Mom’s Macbook
Transfered from Feddit.ch as they closed up shop unfortunately.

Keychron has them. Here’s one example, the Q1
I’ve been playing retro games recently. Metal Slug X, Hydro Thunder, and trying to get into MGS1. Playing on either PSX or Dreamcast
I use a VPN with NewPipe, no problems. I’m using the NewPipe repo for the app
Great! I’ve got my Dad on it, just need to get my mom off of her iPad now
Have you heard of PhotoGIMP? It’s a mod that changes GIMP to resemble photoshop. Also, just for photography, not manipulation, I’d suggest Darktable. Bruce Williams Photography on YouTube has great tutorials on it.
Try using GoG through the Heroic Games Launcher and Proton-GE. It works really really good.
I’ve been using this for a few months now with Organic Maps and it’s incredibly good. A few versions ago I noticed some issues with certain letter sounds but with frequent updates it now sounds so natural.
I found “vits-piper-en_GB-southern_english_female-medium” to be the most natural sounding voice for English.
If Kodi is used to watch movies and TV shows for free then you’d want to protect your internet traffic from unwanted eyes
Absolutely this. Depending on how you use it though, make sure you have a VPN and private DNS setup on your router
I never had much luck with Lutris either. Try Heroic games launcher. It’s fantastic with Linux and GoG
I hope it will release on GoG at some point
I listen to quite a few different podcasts via AntennaPod and have never listened to an ad that wasn’t from the podcast itself. Maybe it’s due to my DNS settings or luck of the draw?
I recently got a Dell Latitude 14 2-in-1 with the AMD 8840U, Put on the latest Fedora Kinoite and the fingerprint reader works FYI.
I’d say a Keychron board with either Gazzew U4 or Zeal Zilent V2 switches. Their plastic frame keyboards are a great value and high quality. The Gazzew U4s are an absolutely amazingly quiet switch with a perfect bump at the very beginning of the press.
Great story. I have found that pretty much everyone I have shown Linux is pleasantly surprised with how nice it is. I think people have an idea of it being a hacker person OS with code running on the screen.
You’re welcome. I’m glad I could help out
Frigate can definitely run on a Pi. It can also integrate with Home Assistant which can run on a Pi. As for turning itself off when you’re home, I don’t know.
The search is definitely the better and a big downside for Organic Maps. However ever since OM added TTS a few months back I haven’t gone back to Magic Earth. ME’s spoken directions are so unclear
