  • I agree, alot of the young guard prefers bling over whatever actually works great. Having said that, giving older software a bit more bling is a good idea because said young guard is the future and you always want to lure people with the bling and keep them with the great functionality. Right now they see bling and if it’s shit, oh well, that’s just how it works

    Why?

    People spend countless hours building the software you use for free. Now they need to buy actual hardware yo build and test that software and what? They have to pay with their own money besides all that time they spent already so that you can continue to use this for free?

    You’re not forced to pay anything, they’re asking for small donations




  • No, but should be able to take a bus. Even so, let him use a car I don’t mind, that’s what they’re for. Long distance transit, heavy hauling. The problem is with 95+% of the trips that are 4 miles and under where people drive their enormous pick-up trucks all empty. You can do those by bike.

    Edit:

    Just an example of what happens when you start reworked more and more car cities into people cities. You can still get there by car, it’s just that public transport and bike and walking is easier so why wouldn’t you
