Also worth noting that communication between signal and matrix through most bridges requires the message to be decrypted and reencrypted, thereby breaking E2EE which kinda defeats the point.
Unless you’re running a bridge on a locked down home server on your own network, not sure it’s the most secure.

As a poor person with low-end, old hardware, I love XFCE. It has extended my laptop’s practical use-life by at least 8 years now, and counting.
Granted I need to figure out how to browse communities….but if there isn’t a Lemmy version of /r/rimjob_steve we definitely need to make one. That never got old for me.
