Just in case - I did not mean you, just the people who spew such shit.
Like my mother. Jesus, I had to explain a lot to her for her to stop saying that stuff near me.

If you want to be all natural, get off the internet.
Stop eating modern vegetables and fruits.
Return to monke.
Not being able to do some things is the biggest blocker.
Sideloading for instance. Photos disappearing inside the Photos app and not being in files is also weird. It just felt like I was a moron who couldn’t handle my own files.
I dunno, I had iPhone in my hand for app development, and I wanted to shoot it out of the cannon into the sun.
You have to understand the thinking process behind the UI, and it’s not ‘intuitive’ to everyone.
And I just couldn’t use it, it drove me crazy.
Unfathomable hands down.
It requires 3-6 people for well over two hours (longest was around 5h).
Constant attacks from the sea creatures trying to destroy your ship. With traitors.
But it’s so engaging and fun. There is enough depth for replayability, lots of variation, there is always something happening, and players interact a lot, so there aren’t boring parts just watching someone go off with their turn.
There was recently an expansion, adding lots of variety and more depth.
Almost everyone who played once wanted to try it again. If you can find people who have the time, they will not walk away until it’s over. And will think about how to play differently the next time.
No weapons for me or the squirrels?
League of Legends is a pet peeve of mine, since one bad person took down DotA forum, stole ideas from it, created LoL, and acted like a big shot. He wasn’t alone, but you know what I mean.
To this day I think that Blizzard hates esports, because they left DotA with 0 support, and only after many years of Dota 2 they created Heroes of the Storm, which was even more watered down than LoL.
And LoL is such a simple game, which is OK, but once you actually understand Dota, it doesn’t come anywhere close. It brought nothing innovative. Which is sad.
Source: I played hundreds of hours, and put hundreds of dollars into LoL back in the ~2010.
So fuck peguins I guess
Hey, I had ATI 6990… those were the times
I am always suprised that people expected anything differently.
Epic was from the start doing things the wrong way, and I will not support any store that has exclusives.
Making a good gaming platform that could rival Steam would take A LOT of time and money and dare I say - no company is willing to lose that for a chance of one day perhaps being only slightly worse competitor that still can’t convince people to migrate.
It’s not a take, that was their actual reasoning behind it. Gabe knew Microsoft well, as a former employee.
I had a printer I could not in my life make work on a Windows PC (2017). Then I tried my Ubuntu laptop, no drivers installed, just worked.
Fuck Windows.
I had 0 luck running it on Linux so far :(
I sync it via Nextcloud, works somewhat with my phone, too (I have to manually download it, and I set it to upload automatically).
Between PCs it works like magic.
Always has been… none of this shit is new, just the audacity is amped up.
And I don’t mean this in any mean way, but how much propaganda did you learn to detect? Like understanding that the american dream is a propaganda?
Oh boy, I know where I’m losing my next free weekend
Gentoo is the best!
Build flags are absolute godsent.
Ever wondered how much shit goes into your software? How many packages include blutooth or CD drivers? Well, you would be suprised.
LibreOffice REQUIRES MySQL client (or MariaDB), and you can’t build it without it. Sounds weird? Then you have no idea what happens inside your packages.
Go climate catastrophy!
