Except the difference between a person not buying the game and a person pirating it is literally nothing from the perspective of the company. Except actually, as many devs have found and acknowledged, people who pirate the game often actually result in increased word of mouth and publicity, and things like merch sales, not to mention many go on to buy the game later when they never would have if they hadnt pirated it first. So saying “just dont buy it” is kinda fucking dumb, because thats all theyre doing in the first place, and the only negative consequence of piracy for the company is a “potential lost sale” that never would have happebed anyway.
But you expect other people to use their free (literally unpaid) time to code what you want them to rather than what they care about or think is important. After theyve already made all of their work and progress free and openly available to anyone who wants to build off it. You have a fucked up view of the world.

Get an air mouse remote. Theyre like 20 bucks on amazon and you just point the remote at the screen to control the mouse cursor. Mine also has media controls on one side and a full keyboard on the other, and only one set of buttons works at a tim3 based on which side is pointing up so you dont have accidental button presses. It makes it way more functional if you want to do even casual web browsing and the media controls are great for htpc apps. You can also use in browser streaming services this way too though. Honestly one of my favourite peripheral devices that ive ever bought, and super cheap and works way better than i wouldve thought for the price.
Somebody else also said it but the steam deck is amazing. Mid level pc performance that can handle almost all new games, and you can use a dock and have it set up just like a console. I use mine all yhe time with bluetooth ps4 controllers. Much bigger games library+being able to emulate so many older consoles makes it a no brainer i think.

I listened to the first three albums (inlcuding reanimation) obsessivley when i was a kid. I think those and the live in texas album are the only cds i still own, for nostalgias sake. Ive recently been going over the albums ive missed though and though they arent start to finish bangers like the old ones, theres some really good songs still.
I mean good. He obviously had enough vision and creativity to get it this far, so if he doesnt want it to be watered down im happy to have less of an awesome thing than way too much mediocre shit which is what lots of other shows are right now. If theres other writers that have good stories to tell then i hope they get a chance to make those into something great too.
This is such a bad faith comment. Im not a hexbear user but my instance is federated with them and ive interacted with lots of their posts. Go into any post on hexbear and youll see tons of examples of them disagreeing WITH EACHOTHER. they commonly have huge arguments in the comments and as long as everyone is civil and not arguing in bad faith noone gets banned and noone gets urt feelings. Have you never had a friend group? Like that’s a dead-ass simple ‘study’ of a gift economy. Sometimes someone pays for lunch, sometimes someone pays for beer, sometimes someone brings weed or bakes cookies or sings a song. Everyone helps everyone else out. Each according to their need, based on their ability. Or is that not something you’re familiar with, because if not, you need better friends.
Steam deck. I’ve been floored by how great it is, and with a dock it’s easy to set up with multiple controllers or a mouse and keyboard. Literally all the benefits of a (handheld) console, and all the benefits of a PC, including the ability to play a huge backlog of old console games.
