As someone mentioned, gyms. I biked to work at one of my previous places, and if I wanted to shower, I’d head to the on campus gym. That gym had stalls, so theoretically ou could talk in the shower, though I never did.

I don’t like chocolate that much, but if I do have it, dark all the way. The less sweet the better. I’m sure I have some limit, like 90% probably too much, but I definitely like less sweet.
In comparison it’s wildly different, and some of the comments to make are massive spoilers. I will say the difference in “sacrifice” is much better, as the first betrays some built in concepts, treats one of the childhood friends as disposable, and doesn’t really let the main character grow.
In brotherhood they call out some of what I said, plus many more characters have much more enjoyable personalities, even some of the pieces of shit like Kimbley(at least he had principles, insane as they were). I like the homunculi better too, even if they were trying to go for a more emotional and artsy thing. Their father is also has far better reasons in Brotherhood for being absent.
I feel like the first anime tried to tug the heartstrings and/or focus solely on the brother relationship too much. I also hated what was done to Rose for what appeared to be no reason but to make things more emotional.
Brotherhood intentionally skipped over a bit in the start, since people most likely had seen it. Not enough for me to recommend watching the entire older anime though. Maybe up to a certain rain moment.
Ffxiv also, has both native and steam, which is useful for steamdeck even if you don’t have it for steam. FFXIVLauncher does the login then uses the fully functional steam demo to play.
Really? Why does Deathstroke and Deadpool both exist? One is DC, one is Marvel, and Deadpool pretty much started as an expy. Slade Wilson and Wade Wilson. You’re arguing from a place of what feels like it should be wrong, yet your fake example has been done in the real world and they got away with it.
This happens so many times in industries they can often just argue parody. In fact, changing a name slightly is classic parody to avoid being sued. Japan in particular often just bleeps out a syllable or forgets a character in the name.
Lots of games are also called Roguelike. Based off a game called Rogue. The makers of Rogue do not get to sue the makers of Hades.
Pets that fight for you, including being able to store them for portable carry has been done by many other games, including Ark. In fact, playing Palworld made me compare it more to Ark than Pokemon: base building, automation, catching dinos/animals/monsters of different varieties for different uses. Some can fly, some run, some can be used as parachutes. Some help automate actions at base. There is a tech tree unlocked by leveling, starting with primitive weapons and moving on to guns and higher caliber guns. Blueprints are common in ark for higher quality crafts to build at, you guessed it, crafting benches.
Collecting wood, stone, metals, etc. Also the animal assistants can help there too, but only certain ones. Also, Ark has cryopods for storing your animals/dinosaurs. You even throw em to release.
If they had exactly Pikachu or something it’s one thing, but similar games are just part of the business.
Iirc it’s based on a real experience, so that’s probably true. I haven’t seen it in forever, nor do I intend to, so I say probably because I don’t recall all the nuance.
I’m imagining that last line said with a thousand yard stare.
People like these? I do em all the time but always feel I’m overexplaining.
deathmatch
breathes in
or tree cutting sim
Oh, nvm then.
Edit: I may be mistakenly looping stuff like Darktide, Helldivers, Monster Hunter, etc into Deathmatch, as those are most of my co-ops aside from survival builders. I also play FFXIV and Elite Dangerous with friends so not hurting as much as others for co-op.
Hmm, maybe like pulling your own arm now? Muscles can go into it but not your weight.
Not really, our brain adjusts to weird stimuli pretty quickly. Sitting slightly painfully your body often ignores it until you try to move again and feel the pain then. Also limbs going numb due to blood loss. I once woke up and tried to get up but something heavy was on my left shoulder making it really hard.
It was my left arm, I didn’t realize I couldn’t feel or move it until I tried to get up, which automatically uses muscles in that arm.
Your captor thinks the torture isn’t working as intended.
Only if they get caught. Looking at you VW.
They so cross drew characters from their mangas in one of the extras.
It’s not quite as many different things, but I usually need music or podcasts in my ears while doing something else. Sometimes it’s just noise; I occasionally have to rewind to check a joke or fact I missed while my focus increased on something else. If I don’t have the stimuli, I find my mind wandering in worse ways though. Driving and a podcast help me focus on the read and not get highway hypnosis or looking at every single thing. Podcast while gaming helps me keep focus on anything somewhat mundane in the game (this varies by game, but most games aren’t 100% pumping 100% of the time).
If I really need to focus on something, then podcasts are a distraction that gets turned off. Music also fits this roll, but depending on how much focus I need I may end up changing from music to lyrics to instrumentals.if I have no external extra stimuli I find myself getting bored, mind wandering, etc. So it helps me focus by having a second input my eyes don’t need.
I can’t do two visual inputs at once, nor two audio inputs. But I usually need input from both. Oh, and the fan thing is incidental. My room produces more heat so I have a room a/c running often, and it’s also a white noise generator I guess. It doesn’t run in winter so it’s not always on, but this time of year it’s a regular noise for me.
I listen to a variety of podcasts for different moods, and I also use it like music. Sometimes I’m in a music mood, sometimes I decide I need to hear how terrible Kissinger really was, sometimes I want to hear Dan research and refute all the lies Alex Jones spouts (the last two come often with the benefit of learning the origin of bullshit being spouted by some internet personalities), and sometimes I want to hear 3-5 guys who I find funny discuss movies and/or Wikipedia articles. I also like listening to factual and historical podcasts that have more detailed researching.
Why listen when I could look up and read it? Well I do look up and read specific topics, but that takes my full attention. I have ADHD and my mind can wander without additional input if I’m doing something tedious. So I listen while driving, cooking, cleaning, working, and even gaming. Gaming isn’t tedious per say, but sometimes you have bursts of that (farming items, repeatable dailies, etc). I pause when I really need to, but some games I also play for relaxation, and I can relax and listen to a funny podcast at the same time. If it’s work or gaming where I need focus, music works better.
It’s not octopuses that octopodes corrects, it’s octopi. Octopi is a Latin pluralization, and since the word is Greek and us to i isn’t specifically American, I agree with you that octopuses is fine but not that octopi is fine.
Doesn’t taskkill /force also do so for the most part? Except maybe a system protected service or something. Haven’t tried it on those.
