I like the new design more but agree the menu height should be smaller or adjustable.

Damn, the model looks really pro!
Great license and fantastic software (Grasshopper is also cool) but lack of a Linux version is a huge bummer.
The infra is still a bit lacking but when I visited I found the drivers to be surprisingly decent with bikes & peds.
Social-right can be quite attractive if all the “left” has to offer is neoliberal BS…
Welcome friendos
Seems over-complicated…
I could imagine an autonomous, on-demand rural train service. Due to the low expected traffic, it seems like you could just build some additional sidings and use a more conventional design.
You might also find the Python library pandas useful. Its “DataFrames” can mirror your excel data 1:1 and you have convenience methods like to_excel(). Easy to combine with numpy for performant matrix math.
XLSX just becomes a container for storing/sharing your data, and while Python is used for analysis. I would use matplotlib for plotting rather than embedding in the sheet.
If I’m doing anything substantial, calculation-wise, I use openpyxl.
Agreed. I really tried to like Libre/OpenOffice over the years but it never felt right. OnlyOffice really hits the spot for me.
I don’t use Windows much any more but I was happy with the discounted student version of Office 2016, afaik the last perpetual license.
It’s not that I look forward to rain-pants days, but it’s really not so tragic…
Don’t get me wrong, the primary cars that I share ride on steel wheels :)
I share a couple cars with a few hundred neighbours. Saves a bunch of parking spaces.
I find Lemmy is better with fewer users just like Reddit used to be.
I kinda miss a few subs but they’ve been replaced by new things I discovered here.
The websites can coexist and users can do as we please.
Only managed to travel to Japan once but really loved walking around. Metros and trains were quite approachable even without a smartphone.
Definitely the most mobile I’d felt without a car at that point in my life!

The apartment we bought came with an old 18” dishwasher.
We run it daily with two adults and it works great. Even though you need to run it more often, it’s takes less time to empty than a full size.
For our current layout it makes a lot of sense but would want a full size if the family grows.
If I was single I would prefer the smaller format. I find it kinda nasty to have my dirty dishes standing for many days.
Did a bit of 8-axis multitool with my previous job (mostly work on a proprietary slicer), and one main takeaway was to not be afraid of editing gcode.
I would probably start with a script to merge the files and then build a basic plugin for my slicer to do the job.
I’m sure more user friendly options are around the corner!
Rhino for CAD.
However, I have been using OpenSCAD for parametric design more than the Grasshopper extension.
Thankfully, skipped ArcGIS entirely for QGIS and Python GDAL wrappers.
Reminds me of this OpenSCAD design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:281520
