Getting healthy is a personal journey. What works for some will not work for others. I hope you find your way.

As for how I quit tobacco cold turkey:

Every day, I would delay the first cigarette as long as I could. There was no limits to my smoking. There was no rules. Just me doing my best. No putting myself down for sparking one up, no goals to disappoint myself by missing.

Slowly over the course of months I got later and later in the day on average. Till one day I forgot to have one. Did I have a smoke the next day? You bet I did.

But eventually I made it a couple days. Then once I got past a couple days I tried to push for a week. Once you get past two weeks the cravings really dropped. It eventually become a “when I drink” thing. And then I abstained from alcohol to help that along.

I still drink, but I don’t smoke (tobacco). It’s been years since I actively smoked, although two years ago I did slip up when i was drunk tubing down a river and bummed like 5 cig from a friend who had a couple packs. It was a really good day. Next day, I didn’t want to keep smoking. I felt really strong to be able to smoke some cigs and just drop it. Haven’t smoked (tobacco) since then.

All drugs should be legal and regulated.

Was it worth it, drug warriors? All the unnecessary deaths, at the hands of police and unregulated drugs of a unknown potency? Was it worth sacrificing all our civil liberties on the vain funeral pyre that is the United States of America?

When humanity is victorious in the drug war and all drugs are legalized, will drug users criminalize sobriety?

Will people high as fuck demand everyone to piss in a plastic cup to make sure they are high?

Will drug users ruin sober people’s lives with felonies and time in prison with hardened criminals?

Will drug users dissolve civil liberties and prop up a bipartisan police state that gives cops a license to kill?

    NO!

Who would want to do that to someone? To a fellow human for doing what they want with their own bodies? Prohibitionists… that’s who. And we are not them

Nothing lasts forever drug warriors. Tick tock. We will be free one day, and you will wail and moan and your cries will fall on deaf ears.

Get fucked prohibitionists. Feel fortunate we want justice, not retribution.

  • You do you, but I am old enough to be classically conditioned to hate any and all autoplay videos. The same for every video that the creator has added music in the back ground.

TikTok and any of its replacements will never be for me, and thats okay. Not everyone is gonna be into gay sex, but I sure am. Sall good.

That said, TikTok shouldn’t be banned. We should have a digital bill of rights so no service/app/corporation, regardless of country of origin, is able to abuse the data of the people for profit or maleficence. Our data comrades.

Unfortunately the poltical system has people discussing which is worse, genocide or genocide+, instead of positive rights legislation.

Trump truly is the gift that keeps on giving to the 1%. So long as he is around, all anyone will talk about is trump trump trump. How they hate trump or love trump or what trump is up to or what laws he broke. The longer we talk about Trump, the less we talk about finding a peaceful way forward for this nation. The less we talk about replacing First-past-the-post voting.
