What do you mean? People watch twitch, why would this be any different?

Meant left y’all lol
Imagine if this meme said "Being rich is easy, if your Jewish enough " with a picture of a guy in a yamuka. How is that not playing into the stereotype? The whole point of the joke is that this is a stereotype of the culture
Huh, I never expected such a blatantly racist meme to get so many upvotes on an overtly far-right platform like lemmy
None of those are mammals…
It’s really inspiring to see such a wide range of hobbies in this thread
If you actually watch the documentary they also talk about 2 pedophiles who were on his set at nick and convicted during that time and one pedophile who was convicted from a disney set.
It’s less about Dan schneider specifically (although he does seem to have a lot of unprofessional, sexist, and inappropriate mannerisms) and more about the need to increase protections for the physical and mental well being of child actors as a whole
I dont agree with their views, but I really dont think it’s affecting their demand as much as you think. Lines are always insanely long - they just move them through very efficiently. By taking orders/payment as soon as you enter the line and knowing which car to give the food to when you get close to the window, the line never stops moving
I feel like Jimmy johns and chick fil a are the only truly fast restaurants anymore. For JJ you do have to go inside, but they often make your sandwich and complete payment in less than a minute, maybe 5 minutes max.
Meanwhile I’ve been to other drive throughs where even with very few people in line, it somehow takes 10/15 mins to get your meal. Plus, it’s often incorrectly made and expensive
The room seems rather bleak at the moment with only gray and black colors and no decoration.
From an organization standpoint consider: getting some hangers for your clothes, hanging a curtain in front of the closet (if you dont want people to see your clothes), getting a bed frame, a bedside table. Have a very basic set of cleaning supplies (windex, paper towels, a swiffer for the floor)
Add some color to the room with a rug and/or throw blanket, and get a lamp if the room feels dark
Add things to the room that will bring you comfort when you walk in - some options are plants (can be fake to avoid watering), photos of family/friends/pets, posters or artwork, books/bookshelf, a television to watch from bed
Some countries banned plastic microbeads in 2017, so a lot of those face washes changed the formula from plastics to environmentally friendly materials. They do still make them though
New fear unlocked
My experience may be too anecdotal to take into account, so I understand not caring about my specific experience. But I do think it’s a good idea to take life span into account, and from a quick google search the average lifespan of a Macbook air is generally 5-7 years (so really not far off).
Just something to consider that since parts aren’t replaceable, OP would have to pay the full amount of a new laptop at that time
I am not very familiar with framework but I did switch from macbooks to a dell gaming laptop years ago and I am so glad I did.
The macs are ridiculously expensive, and even if you break just the charger it costs a lot to replace. My laptop now I was able to get for nearly half the price and it runs games and programs that I used in college better than the mac ever could.
Every mac I ever owned completely died in 4-6 years of purchase. They’re basically guaranteed to not last a long time. My guess is you’re better off with getting a framework
Don’t give doctors a bad name like that. They work their asses off to help people and go many years being overworked and underpaid to do it
It’s the insurance companies that reap the benefits of people’s misfortune
Upvoting because I want to be an awesome person
The water doesn’t make a difference. What’s killing the bacteria is the heat. The water just changes the method of heat transfer. But as others have already said, killing the bacteria may not necessarily make it safe
