GOG is usually my first choice, mainly because its a european company and because of DRM. But I also try to not buy all of my games only on one store. You never know when it suddenly goes to shit and then all your games are trapped in that store.

Funny is that I have only seen Anti Vegan threads on here. Like, who is the annoying one?

Well meat consumption is linked to many health issue, include the higher risk of cancer. But of course it also depends on the dosis but really not many people think about how much meat they consume.

Yes add animal cruelty to on top of that + health issues with meat consumption. Many good reasons to not eat meat and support that terrible buisiness.

Yea meat is being heavily subsidised to bring the cost down, but in reality you pay with your tax money. Also plant based stuff is differently taxed (at least here in germany). Cow milk has a 7% tax and soy milk 19%. There is so much groing wrong because of lobbying by the meat companies.

Meat is just an extra costly step to produce the food we consume. Instead you could just skip that part and it would be less expensive.

Funny thing is that Meat is waaay more expensive to produce then any Vegan alternative but why is Meat not seen as a luxury?

I find it always irritating how people constantly say “vegans are annoying”. Being Vegan would be waaaay easier if meat eaters wouldn’t be so damn annoying about their meat consumption. Just say the word “vegan” and some will lose their shit.

It’s not smart to use your emergency fund as an investment. The point is that you keep your emergency fund in an savings account that has at least an interest rate like the inflation rate and you should be able to use that money any time.

I never said that I’m doing an investment with that. No idea why you mention this.

In germany. I don’t know how long these offers will be available but some banks already reduced the interest to 1,75% or something. I just switched bank for my emergency fund. I’m trying to be above the inflation rate which is currently something around 2,5%

I have my emergency fund in a savings account with 3% interest rate. So my bank is giving me money each month for doing nothing really and I can withdraw my money whenever I want.

In reality it’s mostly the opposide tho. Like in any Social Media post about plant based food you get bunch of meat eaters who have to announce to everyone how much they enjoy eating meat.

I’m from germany and I’m scared about the future. The far-right is getting more and more voters. It’s not just the USA who is fckd.

So far it replaced my casual Reddit browsing when I’m bored. But when I want to look at some specific stuff I still need to go to reddit but it’s just to get some information and not really to engage with the community.
