I just don’t understand the insistence on targeting the woke demographic instead of core gamers. They’ve repeatedly shown that they are masters in the complaining department, but when it comes to buying diversity-infused games, they are a no-show.
No need to panic. I simply went to my uBlock Origin filter page, and clicked on the “house” icon of the Bypass Paywalls Clean. It redirected me to magnolia1234’s (the filter author) gitflic page that contains a more DMCA-resistant filter link. As this site is hosted in Russia, I don’t think Putin will care to help western newspapers. 😉
In a world where historical figures are repeatedly represented in media with the wrong ethnicity, that VA’s complaint seems like irony.
But seriously: if Genshin really aimed at accuracy, they’d have to portray the character as some old guy, which is totally contrary to the tone of the other characters in the game: youthful, cool-looking, modern.

That’s assuming the Suyu team is based on the USA, where the DMCA can screw them over. As they’re hosting their code on GitLab istead of GitHub, it may hint they got this covered.
Even the Steam Deck being computationally weaker than Asus’ and Lenovo’s offerings, I believe it’s still the superior option due to Valve’s commitment to its repairability. I would not be confortable buying an expensive gadget like these and not having the peace of mind of having rapair parts officially available for purchase.
This is extremely true for modern social media sites. Normal news sites used to push their apps too, but I guess this fad has passed.
I read its characters got woke designs and it cast a bad reputation on the game, like it was a game made for DEI pandering.
But that’s just part of it. I guess it’s the Live Service Gaming fatigue, and this game didn’t bring anything new to the table to set it apart from Overwatch.
