I used to but I don’t anymore. I can’t afford to give money away when I can’t even pay for my own bills.

Being co-owner does mean you own it. It is a form of owning that is perfectly acceptable to me. I would gladly own a condo if I could afford it. I don’t need to own the land my property is on to consider myself a homeowner.
I was gonna respond to them but honestly, I couldn’t even begin to think of where. That comment was so wrong on so many levels.
Just the simple fact that someone would unironically say that you can’t own a condo is just wild to me, let alone the rest.
This looks like a before after, but in the wrong order
People often say “we should send one normal person to show how hard what they’re doing actually is”
This is what happens when we do
They invented sound bouncing off walls as a mechanic to make Thief. Truly a trendsetter
If I’m going to recommend old games, it’ll be mostly games from the age of Intel Pentium 3, before all this newfangled multi core stuff they’re up to these days. Anything that comes after that is someone else’s to go to bat to. Heck I was playing Doom for a few years at a cousin’s house before we had our family computer in 98
This is what I played as a teenager that still hold up in my eye.
X-wing alliance
Age of Mythology
Strongholds Crusaders
Rise of Nations
Midtown madness
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters
Diablo
Starcraft and Broodwar
Super Street fighter II turbo
Super Mario World
Kirby All star
Heroes of might and magic 3
Age of Wonders
I hear some of the online modes are awesome but the story was a bust. I was looking forward to a good old Homeworld story but I heard enough to know not to buy it.
It’s also one of those games that end up as discord competitive games, like a lot of fighting games. You kinda need to play against people who are really into RTS if you’re gonna play it online a few months after release.
Does Hulu still block Canadians though?,
Some of those were hilarious, like the one who didn’t know there were shots, so he just said he collapsed then was escorted off the stage, or the “I wish he would Van Gogh away” one
Give me your olives then. I don’t mind
It’s the original “I moved things with my FREAKING MIND!!!” From Forspoken
We also use it to weigh down our fishing lines… because we’re that smart.
It’s potential. Matter can go there. Saying there is an end to the universe means that at some point, there is no possible expansion. It also means we are completely ignoring the tiniest infinitly small chance that our big bang wasn’t the only one. If you zoom out far enough, is there really zero chance that this “known universe” is actually just part of a greater whole?
imagining the universe as a contained thing with hard limits is what gives me the creep
I feel like I could talk about this for years, but I got video games to play. The short answer is I don’t feel like I have to know what caused the matter to all be at the same place and then expand to be satisfied with an infinite universe of finite matter. I wish my brain could understand how time as we know it started with the big Bang, but I think I’m slightly too dumb for that.
Because the universe is expanding. If it were finite it wouldn’t be able to expand. Emptiness is still “something”. If we were “at the edge of the universe”, we could still go further from the center, there would just be nothing for as far as we can perceive, maybe even infinitely, but then, we would be there. That makes it “a place”.
“The cosmos is not infinite, has a beginning and an end”
The fact that everyone around me seems to be persuaded that there is a beginning in time is unnerving to me. In my head, cosmos has always been infinite, and will always be infinite. Even if nothing is there, it will still exist.
The idea that anything before the big bang is considered to not exist has so many things wrong with it that I struggle to internalize it. If matter cannot be made or destroyed, that means that there will always be matter in one form or another.
Undertale and For Honor
Undertale is a decent enough game, I guess, but whenever I think about it, I think about all the crazies that call themselves fans of it. It’s exhausting just thinking about it.
For Honor got me interested, but it made a few very bad choices. Magnet hands and slow attacks meant that you could react to attacks, and never had to worry about whiffing. It’s so dull to have basically no concept of interesting movement play in a game about fighting.
We didn’t have a printer so we wrote down the instructions and memorized them as much as possible because we understood that not paying attention to the road would get someone killed.
The same people can’t get their fucking eyes off their cellphone now.
