You know what’s great about modding? You can decide for yourself what you want to use and what you don’t want to use. You customize the game to your personal liking.
Fediverse is worse than Reddit. Mod abuse, admin abuse, disinformation and people circle jerking each other off like they have it all figured out.

I’d argue 7000s series and up since they actually have AI cores on the board. Any sort of AI crap on the previous generations is such a hassle that I doubt they’ll support them.
Yeah. FOMO and nostalgia got me, and some people saying Blizzard definitely has learned… But D4 was the last straw for me.
Still the best one out of those 3 named. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It’s almost like the whole concept of gamepass was already sketchy as hell. This should have been really no surprise at all, but people kept making excuses for it.
I don’t buy Ubisoft games but that is almost tempting.
Eww, yuck! 3D Sonic is an atrocity!
It had a shitty lineup unfortunately. The console itself was great though, and I actually loved the big grippy gamepad since I got larger hands.
It’s well outlined in the article too. AMD is far behind in regards to raytracing and upscaling, both enthusiast level relevant technologies. AMD already struggles to compete with nvidia in sales and this is just the final nail in the coffin if they simply cannot offer a competitive product that’s actually going to get bought by enthusiasts.
If we look at the Steam hardware survey, we see that an RTX 4090 is at .96% shares, a 7900 XTX is not even reaching half of that with .40%. And this discrepancy is just going to grow more and more due to AMD being behind on those things. So until they can improve (if they even can), there’s no point in wasting their already lower resources on a market they cannot compete in.
The one issue I see here is that Intel is very much pushing into the budget and at least lower midrange market at the moment too, which could mean AMD loses shares to Intel as well.
They don’t have one that can properly compete with nvidia, which means it’s a waste of resources to even target that area and instead focus on one where they can.
For those who like canned meat but want it to be more ethical or environmentally friendly?
NSFW / 18+ tags are usually used for nudity, sexual content, or gore. So, things you either don’t want or can’t look at. Using them for just news articles on violent crimes (that don’t show graphic images) or even things like swear words is excessive and unnecessary and ultimately degrades the tags meaning.
I’m sure China is going to get right on it!
NVN is over two decades old at this point, of course the graphics aren’t great. I personally also aren’t a huge fan of the semi real time combat system, as it really messes with some classes. Modding (along with computer games in general) was also nowhere near as big as it is today. But despite all that it’s still alive, due to its campaign editor. I’m sure BG3 will be modded to death with this (not literally ofc).
It’s like using the BG3 game as a D&D game engine for creating whatever campaign / game you want. Let’s say you didn’t like BG3’s story or characters, but enjoyed the technical aspects, then you can now hope for people creating their own custom campaigns, or even a complete open world setting.
What I, and a lot of other folks were hoping for. Even if you don’t like the BG3 campaign… With this there’s the potential for pretty much anything. People could create their own “games” using BG3 as an D&D engine. Neverwinter 1 & 2 lived on for a long time because of this.

Do people seriously not know what a freaking mammoth is?!
The biggest and dumbest change you made was to implement Denuvo.
