• The way I pronounce the word “sorry” as well as my inflection whenever I’m speaking. Only my close friends whom I speak to in private know what my voice sounds like.

• There are words I’ve made up that I jokingly use around friends. An impostor would not know about this as I speak to my friends privately and I never join chat servers, where bad actors could be eavesdropping. A wrong answer or “I don’t know” would out them as an impostor.

• My art. I will deliberately make “mistakes” in my art that are subtle enough to not be seen by most people, but I will be able to tell if someone is trying to copy it. Map makers do something similar.

• Other random details only my friends know about that’d immediately out an impostor once asked.

The feeling of being loved.

These models rely on pre existing art for their output, usually art which is taken without the artist’s consent, which is why a US District Court ruled that AI generated images cannot be copyrighted. If the AI’s output relies on pre existing art that has been taken without consent, then uploading it is largely considered to be art theft, and by changing the style that would also be considered modifying someone’s art without permission.

The way I see it is that it’s a bit like tracing. I’d be okay with someone tracing my art if it helps them practise, under the condition that they do not upload the traced piece or any parts that were traced from my drawings. If they uploaded something that has been traced, that would be art theft and I would be eligible to report it.

Nope, in my case I’ve had good experiences with them. The important thing to consider here is that these authorities aren’t a monolith, they’re individuals. How one cop deals with something can vary vastly compared to how another cop will deal with it, teachers will often have their own style of teaching and level of competency, et cetera.

Had a shared laughing fit that lasted for several hours.

I was at the movies with my friend, it was a horror movie, both of us enjoyed the genre and the trailers looked decent. There were several very cliched scenes in it, silly jumpscares, and unintentionally funny scenes that were made way funnier by the fact that my friend would not stop making jokes and references. It got to a point where people in the theater were giving us weird looks because we wouldn’t couldn’t stop giggling and laughing at both the movie and the jokes we were making up about it. After we got home we kept repeating our jokes and references that we made up about the movie while playing Mario Kart and we just kept crashing into each other all the time and not actually racing because both of us were laughing too hard 😂 I’m pretty sure it took like two days for my sides to feel normal again.

Inclination to trust people after an abuse of loyalty.

I saw a classmate who didn’t appear to have any friends, and I felt bad for them, so I started sitting next to them at the dinner tables and we quickly became friends. I’d only known them for maybe two weeks at most, when they suddenly demanded a large sum of money from me, money which I neither had at the time, and a transaction that my family would not have approved of. I politely declined their request, and their whole personality changed after that.

They got jealous whenever I was talking with my other friends. They started to send me aggressive messages, and started to spread rumours about me, rumours which were not believed due to my good standing with everyone, lack of evidence, and also because of how bizarre they were. I even had people come up to me and tell me, "Elaine, they’re making up stuff about you, what’s going on?"I believe they may have gotten expelled because a few days later they stopped showing up to school.

I think with time it’ll get better, but I’m going to be at least a little suspicious of people. Time will tell.

Me! I’m new to social media in general, decided to engage with it earlier this year by looking up lists of social media sites and then joined the ones I could find that I vibed with!

1. My teachers have commented that I’m a fast learner, so I would say yes, somewhat, or at least someone who catches on to things quickly.
2. I’m usually the first person in my group of friends to notice a scam or something/someone being off. I guess you could call this street smarts.
3. Honestly, I think everyone is unique in their own way!

Formerly I used Imgur to post progress pictures, but migrated to Internet Archive after I learned that Imgur implemented an expiration policy. When people in the comments accuse my work of being AI-generated, it shows that people aren’t reading the description.

My computer installing an update and restarting because I was away from my desk. I won’t settle for any other OS though since Paint Tool SAI only runs on Windows.

Teal and turquoise, I think because it evokes imagery of my very early childhood where I’d be on vacation and swimming in seas that looked like shimmering gems, with water so clear that it looks as though you’re flying. Fun little fact, I’ve never had to be trained on how to swim, I just instinctually have been able to do so for as long as me and my parents can remember.

I’ve eaten pasta from a sealed, unopened bag that was 4 years past the date. The only difference I noticed was a few pieces breaking apart after cooking and it maybe cooked a tad faster.
