2·16 days agoHow round one wants to be is easily influenced by external factors like culture, though. I think slim bodies look sleek and beautiful, but it’s probably healthier to have a bit of fat in the right places (for times when your digestive system is on the fritz)
I like the effort for a body weight stat being more complete or useful for individuals, but my efforts measuring BRI came up kind of wack too :(. We decided it judged me too thin.

Everyone’s experiences will be different. There is hate everywhere, and here too. It doesn’t feel worse to me then anywhere else, so that’s already pretty great in my book.
6·25 days agoMan o man, I love me some zomboid. Almost everyday, when I leave for work, about 5 minutes into my journey I get the zomboid heebie-jeebies :-).

6·1 month agoBought a Pocophone F1 when that had insane value per dollar. Had to “wait” for a cooldown period to unlock the bootloader. I had never bought phones made for a Chinese market before. I have never felt more disrespected by a phone company, forcing me to use their launcher for 2 weeks, so condescending. I am a functioning human adult, thank you very much, I’ll chose my own software. Never interested in made for Chinese market phones again.
Hahaha, I can respect that! Too bad though, he’s a fine actor, with many faces.
Apples USB-C DAC dongle is available locally, cheap including shipping and basically best at price point (cheap) unless you want to roll the dice with Alibaba or similar. I have 3 because dongles tend to disappear, with them being tiny and all. I had others from international sellers but they all disappointed except for audio volume.
I daydream of Zomboid every week :) I just want to get out there and SURVIVE, man!
3·1 month agoThese are a bit more make your own story: Rimworld with Multiplayer mod (feels like its vanilla multiplayer tbh) and Project Zomboid :)
Maybe combine the loot fest with some hades difficult combat? I have similar feelings as yours, the genre is really cool but in the end, it’s all just this hidden grindfest? At least with (real) brutal combat, you still need to “make it happen”, big numbers is just the req.
For Kindle specific ripping, I think it changed a year back and now you need to have a kindle connected before the Amazon servers poop out some magic unlock key/the whole book. After that you’re golden, but during the rip you need a kindle device…
