So this is where I’m confused because if I (an American citizen and resident) move to Japan, I can still vote. If I move to Puerto Rico, does that mean I can no longer vote?

I know someone who has been living abroad for 25+ years and he still votes in every election. I’m not sure if there is a time limit, but it seems to be long if there is.
It would make more sense to move to Ohio or Pennsylvania to try to swing them back to Blue.
No kidding, I pay less than $100 month to insure 2 cars with State Farm. I’ve never had an issue with them paying a claim, and my agent meets with me every few years to go over my options and every single time I walk away with better coverage and less payment.
“When the oil hits the anus” is an oldie that I like to pull out from time to time.
Do you guys often miss while standing and, if you do, not clean up after?
Yes… and, sadly, not always. Just take a look around a urinal (which shouldn’t be difficult at all to miss) and I don’t think this is just a ‘me’ issue.
When you’re sitting do you not have an issue with the pee splashing UP the side of the bowl onto the seat? I have this happen often.
The biggest issue I typically have is the toilet water is really cold if I accidentally hang down into it, but I normally don’t have a problem with pee hitting the sides of the bowl.

Yeah, sorry… someone else had riled me up, and I didn’t do a cache flush before seeing your comment.
I’ve only been questioned once about sitting to pee… it was after about 10 years of being married. My wife asked one day if I sit while peeing at home, and when I told her that I do she said “I’ve always wondered why there isn’t pee all over our bathrooms”.
No, more like using a pen to write about how important the 2nd amendment is, without actually needing to own a gun first.
But, like, what point do you think I was trying to make? That if I don’t sit down to pee then I won’t be able to pee standing? I’m really confused at your attempt to shoehorn politics into a conversation about piss.
I always sit to pee when I’m at home, mostly so I don’t have to worry about spray/drippage/seat positions, but I also believe that men have this amazing power where we have the ability to stand and pee… and I think the biggest flex you can make when you have amazing power is to only use that power when it makes sense. Restraint is power.
I agree, this is why I consider myself a ‘patient gamer’… I don’t want to reward releasing half-done games, or trickling out DLC that should have been included in the original release.
I had to re-evaluate my stance on this when Baldur’s Gate 3 was released because I really wanted to play it, but was going to wait until it went on sale. Then the reviews starting coming in saying that it was a full game, no major issues, and no planned DLC. I immediately purchased it because **THAT **is the behavior I want to reward, and I’m very glad that I did.
This is the opening to John Scalzi’s Starter Villain. Great book for anyone interested in a humorous look at late stage capitalist supervillains.
This is the wrong sub for such comments… but I agree with you. If you need a truck and you have a family you can buy the smaller truck, but then you also have to buy a car to carry the family. The larger truck will let you haul your family and give you the pickup truck that you need.
I was a low level IT guy many years ago and had worked for the company for about 4 years. There was a sales guy also named Bob that I would help out a few times a year. It was a small company, around 50 employees, and every year at the company Christmas party sales guy Bob would come up to me and say “I don’t think we’ve met, I’m Bob”.
That pissed me off, but it is the only time I can remember where I was upset someone didn’t remember my name.
The trick is to then open the image in Gimp and export it.
Awesome! Now do it to keep the cops from being able to force you to unlock your phone under duress.
I work in IT and the one that kills me is when someone says or writes “On premise” when they mean “On premises”. I have worked for cloud companies and even the official literature is wrong. It has gotten to the point where so many people get it wrong that the official meaning is going to be changed because people are dumb and we can’t have nice things.
Words have meaning, stop fucking them up!
I agree, not necessarily that I like hearing about other people’s dreams, but that I think people should be more willing to actively listen when someone talks about their dreams.
I don’t necessarily like hearing other people’s dreams, but I do like talking about my own dreams, so I will listen. While dreams aren’t real, what happens in dreams can effect people because it is still something they experienced, and talking about stressful situations is a great way to let go of any negative feelings associated with the experience.
I feel like this isn’t 100% accurate, so I fixed it.
Automatic1111 or DiffusionBee is probably what you’re looking for. Then you’ll need to grab some models from Hugging Face.
