    But in French “W” is often abbreviated to “V”. Like BMW --> Beh Ehm Veh (often shortened even further to “Beh Ehm”).

    So WWW would be “veh veh veh”.

    In any case “World Wide Web” is quite the mouthful for the average French speaker.
