Unfortunately, it’d be Nice Fugging Meme Bro now, as Fucking has changed its name after too many tourists showed up and stole their signs.
Why didn’t they just sell Welcome To Fucking signs to tourists?
That likely wouldn’t have helped, because sadly some people still think it’s funny to steal the actual town signs. I guess even if they’d sell identical 1:1 signs for a fair price, some people would still steal the installed ones.
They should put a vending machine beside all of the signs.
Given the fact that a fair price for a real town sign is about 175€ somebody will probably just rob the vending machine, either to get the money or a sign. Maybe a card only vending machine would work but changing the name to “Fugging” was probably simpler.
With a keen mind like that, you could be president of something!
Someone did set up a tourist shop selling T-shirts reading “I like Fucking in Austria”, though the locals found it a bit undignified. (Austria can be a somewhat conservative place, especially in rural areas.)
Self-censorship is the bane of the internet. You have the freedom to say fuck, use it.
And it’s right FUCKING there in the image anyway… I’m certain people do this consciously to get more “interaction”, at least a few certain comments about it.
also it would be way funnier with literally just the map picture so people would see the funny themselves
Why censor the title when it says fucking in the image?
so people ask this question and they get engagement

How old is this meme? I’m wondering if someone already drove this. If not, someone soon will. Should I fire up my 2002 Skoda and do it?
But be sure to read the top comment first ;-)
Do it!
Are you just driving across the Baltic sea there?
If you mean the crossing of the South Funen Archipelago between Germany and Denmark, it’s a ferry currently.
A tunnel will open in 2029. Construction started recently.
More like 2035 but we’ll see. Germany is involved in the construction after all.
Damn, 40 hours just for one Nice Fucking Meme Bro? That’s a full time job, shout out to all the hard working meme makers.
