minus-squaresir_pronoun@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up35·5 months agoThis is an abomination. As the article said, imagine a 30 year old movie being pulled because it showed an Audi or played a certain song! What the hell
minus-squareLookorex@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up19·5 months agoMaybe not pulled, but there are plenty that aren’t legally available digitally because of this, so it’s ridiculous there already too
minus-squaremakyo@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up9·5 months agoThe only difference is that Forza is barely five years old
minus-squareBlue_Morpho@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·5 months agoI can recall the TV show Northern Exposure from 30 years ago never got an accurate DVD release because of music licensing.
minus-squaredingus182@endlesstalk.orglinkfedilinkarrow-up3·5 months agoI’ve recently watched WKRP in Cincinnati, “on the web” with the original tracks. Such a great show at the time.
minus-squareLordTrychon@startrek.websitelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·5 months agoI bought the whole show on DVD a few years ago because it wasn’t streaming anywhere. No clue if it was ‘accurate’ though. Just noticed it’s now streaming on prime a few days back. Thought I was buying a normal copy of the Drew Carey Show, but it was definitely not. Still enjoyed it.
