I’m all for art, but these subsidy hunting pieces need to die already or is gonna be the death of public funding for art itself. If it doesn’t convey anything, what is the point of placing it in public?
They can be interesting for a little while but the artists never seem to be thinking about the people who will have to see it every single day, they only think about themselves and the statement they want to make. It’s completely egotistical and creates an environment that feels the opposite of welcoming and inclusive.

It’s a mile marker. Besides the number in the middle, it doesn’t scream mile marker but I guess it is functional if you know.
