First, the singer literally just said “stop genocide” without mentioning the country. There are so many genocides happening right now. Sudan, Armenia, Ukraine. You think it’s talking about your country because it’s doing that?

Third, it was really shameful that in the letter that the host was forced to read there was solidarity only to the Israeli people and not the other people that is still being bombed right now. It’s because they’re dark skinned and poor, so we’re not caring about them?

I get that it’s not. but I also get how a Palestinian person might see it that way. IMO, take the damn sticker off and call it good.

Netanyahu said it best when he called Palestinian children “children of darkness.” yes sir, he spoke the truth when he said, “There are no innocent civilians in Gaza.” Like Arieh King said they are “subhuman.” but I think Yoav Gallant said it best when he called Palestinians “human animals.”
You are right though, we must call out hate whenever we see it or we run the risk of normalizing it. No one, not even my enemy deserves to be dehumanized. Even when they do inhuman things because hate is a contagious, addictive, and insidious affliction that must be stamped out through love and compassion.
