I’m not saying the GOP won’t do it but getting mad before anything happens will create a avenue of attack for the GOP or make you look dumb when it doesn’t happen.

If the left gets in the habit of calling foul before anything is done when the actual bad news hits it will be less impactful.

Normally I would say let it be but with how much the GOP depend on voters in their party that benefit from Medicaid they are actively trying to soften the blow for when they actually do it.

This issue is a powder keg and if we flinch before it goes off we put ourselves in the blast zone.

The only flaw I can see with your argument is that they currently are one step away and they have an incredible history of taking from us

I’m telling you, the GOP will shoot themselves in the foot doing it and they know it. So if they put the heat on the left and point at us for being reactionary they can slink away for a few news cycles and blow up it in the background. Then no one will pay attention to it because they’ve already blew their load chastising lefties.

Don’t believe me, look who’s pushing the narrative. Your favorite ghouls. Nancy Polsei and Biden administration people. Not that they are malicious just they are predictable and the Republicans have been playing them for years.

Show me one time, one single instance, of saying, “I told you so” changing MAGAs tune.

I think people aren’t really getting what you’re trying to say but you’re right.
