The soviets were on par with the nazis, depending on your ethnicity even worse (as they raped and killed indiscriminately, not targeting specific groups). They invaded countries, massacred all politicians, journalists, professors, artists, etc and installed their puppets. A bigger, redder parasite.
Equating the Soviets to the Nazis originates with Double Genocide Theory, which is a form of Holocaust Trivialization and Nazi Apologia. They did not SA and kill indiscriminately, nor did they create mass industrialized murder. Rather, they were liberators and stopped the Holocaust.
